Pumpkin seeds are the only pumpkin thing that I like. But I REALLY like them, so every year I try and think of new seasonings that will be tasty. And these four varieties were the winners for this year!
After you get the seeds out of your pumpkin, strain them under water to get all of the leftover goop off of them and then spread them out on a paper towel.
Once they are mostly dried, I put them in to four different bowls so that I could season them and stir them around.
Then we get to mixing!
I lived in Maryland until I was 8 years old and my family still goes back every year at least once. So, for my east coasters, this one is for you. And if you’re on the west coast or anywhere else, hopefully they sell this in your local grocery store (Nevadan’s you’re all good, we have it everywhere!)
I am talking about Old Bay.
Next, I go pretty simple because this is my second favorite— good old salt and pepper!
Next is buffalo sauce with a side of ranch!
And last, for all of my sweet toothers, cinnamon and sugar. Just a warning, these ones get sticky!
The last bit of instructions are to spread them out on a pan, and put them in the oven at about 350 degrees for around 10-15 minutes. I generally stir them around in the middle and I take them out when they are dried out.
And there you have all of your cooked and delicious pumpkin seeds 4 ways! They’re so yummm.
