Jade and Ryan had the ultimate Las Vegas wedding weekend—from a welcome reception at Alexxa’s, to an iconic Elvis ceremony at Viva Las Vegas, and a full-on reception at Rivea. If you’re thinking of planning your own wedding weekend in Vegas, you’re going to want to stick around. These two planned the perfect celebration with their favorite people, so keep reading for all the inspo!
Jade and Ryan actually knocked out all their bridal party photos and formal portraits the night before their welcome reception— literal geniuses. 🙌🏻 It gave them so much more time the next day to just soak it all in. They were even able to head straight into their reception dinner after the ceremony. No stress, no rush, just vibes. I was also obsessed with their outfits for the night. Ryan rocked a deep red and black patterned tux which was perfect for formal Vegas portraits. Jade looked stunning in a strapless white satin gown with a feathered slit, and a bedazzled money clutch which was definitely giving flashy Vegas vibes!
The next day after their portraits, Jade and Ryan hosted their welcome reception for their Las Vegas wedding weekend at Alexxa’s Kitchen + Bar. Can we talk about how iconic this was?! This whole night was the perfect kickoff to their Las Vegas wedding weekend–fun, elevated, and a little bit flirty (aka everything you want when you’re celebrating in Las Vegas!).
Alexxa’s had the best energy with the euro patio vibes. It felt like we were partying on a balcony in Paris, but make it Vegas. The backdrop of the Bellagio Fountains was chef’s kiss! The details were pretty next level too. From custom “all in” napkins, a cute welcome sign announcing the night before festivities, and signature cocktails! It was super chill but also very glam. Jade, Ryan, and their guests had so much fun sipping on drinks, snacking, and snapping selfies together!
Jade and Ryan kept it intimate and lowkey to start their day by getting ready together at Paris Las Vegas Hotel. It was so nice for them to be able to soak up all of the little moments before the craziness of the day kicked off. Jade wore an off-the-shoulder satin gown with a train that was basically made for a Vegas wedding, while Ryan kept it classic and cool.
After getting ready, we rolled into Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel for their portraits. If you’ve never been— it’s giving retro diner meets Vegas neon dream. Between the turquoise booths, checkered floors, and the glowing jukebox, we were in photo heaven. Then came the ceremony. Smoke machines, a pink convertible entrance, and an Elvis impersonator that fully understood the assignment! After saying “I do”. Jade and Ryan hopped on a party bus with their crew to keep the celebration going as we headed to their reception location, because the Las Vegas wedding weekend wasn’t over yet!
After the ceremony, everyone headed over to Rivea for the reception, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting. I love how this location sits high above the Las Vegas Strip, offering unreal views of the city lights, and the modern, moody vibe of the space made the night feel elevated and effortlessly cool! Truly a great location for a reception or just to celebrate a Las Vegas wedding weekend of intimate elopement!
From the second guests walked in, the energy was contagious. The night was full of laughter, heartfelt toasts, and so many little moments between friends and family that truly made it feel personal and special. The sleek glass walls, modern lighting, and cozy round tables gave it an intimate atmosphere while still keeping that true “only in Vegas” feel. I loved getting to capture the candid in-between moments, from late-night espresso martinis to touching up in the bathroom!
If you’re dreaming of a fun wedding weekend, I can’t recommend Las Vegas enough. There’s so much to do and see, and the experience is truly one of a kind! From iconic wedding chapels to interactive Elvis ceremonies, there’s something here for every kind of couple here. And what better way to document it all than with a Las Vegas wedding photographer who knows the city and genuinely cares about the experience you and your partner will have?
