I’ve photographed Shelby for years (she owns Vinyl Beauty Bar), so when she asked me to shoot her and Trey’s downtown vintage Las Vegas wedding photos, it was an immediate yes! They were going for that classic, old-school Vegas elopement vibe—and honestly? We nailed it. These are hands-down some of my favorite photos ever. Narrowing them down for this blog was nearly impossible (I could’ve uploaded the whole gallery 😅)
We hit all the iconic spots— Fergusons, Downtown Tattoo, and the rooftop at Binion’s—and brought that perfect mix of vintage flair and modern cool. If you’re dreaming of a classic Vegas feel with unforgettable photo ops, you’re in the right place. Keep scrollin’!
We started off at Fergusons in downtown Las Vegas. Shelby rocked a sheer corset mini dress with lace overlay and white platform heels that scream high-fashion bride, while Trey kept it sleek in an all black suit that was effortlessly cool. Their attire was perfect for what we were going for.
Between the iconic retro motel sign, string lights, and the vibrant bursts of florals and cacti, every corner gives off a dreamy mix of vintage charm and modern edge. You get the urban Vegas vibe and those editorial backdrops that make your gallery feel straight out of a fashion mag! Ferguson’s always delivers, which is why it’s such a favorite location for downtown vintage Las Vegas wedding photos.
Okay but let’s talk about Downtown Tattoo—this spot is such a vibe. The storefront alone is a total photo op with its bold signage, pops of color, and gritty-cool energy that just screams vintage Vegas. Even if you don’t step inside, the outside makes the perfect backdrop for those edgy, just-married-but-make-it rockstar photos.
But if you’re down to go all in, you can actually get a tattoo during you session. Yep! There’s no better way to remember your Vegas elopement or wedding day than with a little permanent souvenir 😉 It’s fun, it’s bold, and it makes your story that much more you!
After photos in front of Downtown Tattoo, we then kept the night rolling down Fremont, and let me just say—Vegas after dark is undefeated. The neon signs, vintage marquees, and the electric energy. It’s the perfect blend of chaos and charm, and exactly the vibe we were going for!
We wrapped things up with rooftop photos at Binion’s, which honestly felt like stepping into old-school Vegas glam in the best way. Shelby made a quick outfit change into a short lace dress and pink veil. It added the cutest, most playful twist to the night. It was giving retro bridal Barbie, and I was so here for it. I love the view of Fremont lighting up behind them. It was next level, and it gave us that classic meets cinematic energy and Shelby and Trey totally nailed it! I also loved Shelby’s “till death” leather jacket that she paired with her lace dress and pink high-top sneakers once we got back down to Fremont Street. It was a whole look. Cool, edgy, and effortlessly iconic, just like Vegas itself.
If you’re dreaming of downtown vintage Las Vegas wedding photos, Fremont Street is packed with the best photo ops—from neon lights and retro signs to rooftops and hidden gems that feel straight out of a movie. And better yet, you don’t have to have a ceremony for photos like these. Just book your session (and then run off to Cancun to get married like Shelby and Trey lol)
