Planning a Las Vegas micro wedding doesn’t mean keeping things simple. Tamara and Matty went all in on style. With guests flying in from Australia and Canada, the whole day felt like a destination getaway, full of laughter and energy. Picture a spring garden party, but make it Vegas: colorful details, storytelling moments, and a micro wedding that proved intimate celebrations can still feel bold and unforgettable!
Spring in Vegas? It doesn’t get better than portraits at the Bellagio! The gardens were full of color, and with the flowers blooming, it felt like the perfect spot to show off Tamara and Matty’s looks. His rust-orange suit against all that greenery? Unreal. Her lace gown and bouquet from Mylo Fleur brought the whole spring palette together without even trying.
We wandered through the gardens, grabbed a few casino shots (because obviously, it’s Vegas), and then the whole crew loaded up on the party bus. Drinks cracked open, music blasting, everyone was ready to hit the Neon Museum for the next round.
The Neon Museum is one of the most unique spots for a Las Vegas micro wedding. Instead of a traditional backdrop, couples get to say their vows surrounded by vintage neon signs that feel iconic to the city. At golden hour, the colors pop even more, giving the ceremony this warm, glowing vibe you can’t find anywhere else.
For Tamara and Matty, it was exactly the kind of setting that fit them. It was fun, colorful, and such a true Vegas experience for all of their guests!
Tamara and Matty’s Las Vegas micro wedding wrapped up at one of the coolest hidden gems in the city—Mid Century Manor. This spot feels like a retro oasis, and they went all in on styling their reception space. Long tables were lined with colorful florals by Luz’s Blooms, candles, and lanterns overhead, creating such a cozy but elevated setup. It was proof that even with a smaller guest list, intentional decor can make the whole night feel extra special.
And honestly? It was such a vibe. They had showgirls greeting guests with champagne, an espresso martini bar (yes, please), and the kind of heartfelt speeches that made everyone laugh and cry. Matty, true to reputation, teared up more than once. When the temperature dropped and the wind kicked in (super random for April) the venue handed out matching beach towels. They somehow fit right in with the color palette. Guests wrapped up, got on the dance floor, and kept the party going like nothing changed!
One thing to note: Mid Century Manor has announced they’ll be closing this location and moving. If you’re into the backyard-style vibe, Lotus House is another venue to look at. It’s got that same intimate energy and is such a fun space for a micro wedding dinner or reception that you can easily transform to fit your vision.
One of my favorite parts of the night? Tamara and Matty had a friend shooting on a disposable camera, and I even ended up in a few of the photos. Between that and wrapping things up with an espresso martini from their martini bar, I felt literally like family.
Capturing their Las Vegas micro wedding was such a special experience. It was the kind of day that reminds me why I love what I do!
Love From Tamara + Matty:
“CRYINGGGG!!!! Love them all SO MUCH! Thank you again for everything, can’t wait to get some printed!!!”
“We had the best time working with Ashlyn. She’s organized, flexible, and talented – a perfect combo of efficient + fun! We truly adore her and every single one of our photos. Ashlyn was able to capture the spirit of our wedding, giving us such a special walkthrough of this once in a lifetime experience. We can’t wait until our next trip to Vegas where we can work with her again!”
One of my favorite takeaways from Tamara and Matty’s day is how much intention they put into every part of it. They had portraits at the Bellagio, a colorful ceremony at the Neon Museum, and a styled reception at Mid Century Manor that felt straight out of a spring garden party. It’s the best reminder that even if you’re planning an elopement or Las Vegas micro wedding, you can still go all in on design and make your day feel like you.
