I’ve photographed so many different kinds of weddings here: brunch celebrations, evening receptions, intimate elopements, and everything in between. Somehow, every single one feels completely unique, which is one of the biggest reasons I recommend it to my couples.
The property is huge, around 50 acres, and filled with palm trees, fountains, and Mediterranean-inspired architecture. There’s so much natural beauty here that you can have a garden-style wedding without ever leaving Las Vegas.
And if you still want a little touch of Vegas flair? The casino inside the resort makes for some super fun photos at the end of the night!

Every space at JW Marriott has its own personality, which means you can tailor it to match your exact vision. Whether that’s modern glam, garden chic, or classic ballroom elegance.
The outdoor areas are what make JW Marriott so special. These lawns and courtyards are surrounded by palm trees and fountains, giving you that European garden wedding energy in the middle of the desert.
They’re perfect for spring or summer ceremonies, especially if you want that romantic golden-hour glow. I would love to photograph a full outdoor garden wedding here someday. 👀 Think string lights, champagne towers, and dinner under the palms would be absolute perfection.
If you’re planning something bigger or prefer an indoor option, the ballrooms are beautiful blank canvases. The Grand Ballroom is ideal for large guest lists, while smaller spaces like the Cascade Room work great for more intimate celebrations.
The lighting, high ceilings, and neutral tones make it easy to transform these rooms into whatever vibe you want. Add draping, uplighting, or a floral arch to completely change the atmosphere.
Pro tip: bring in an outside planner or designer to help personalize the space. The in-house team is great, but having someone focused solely on YOUR day makes all the difference.
The terraces are one of the most underrated parts of the venue. They’re perfect for cocktail hour or smaller receptions where you still want that open-air feel without being directly under the sun.
I’ve seen couples host sunset toasts here before heading into dinner, and it’s such a relaxed and intimate way to start the evening.
JW Marriott Las Vegas has over 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space with a mix of gardens, ballrooms, and terraces. According to the venue’s official wedding brochure, there are more than 30 event rooms in total, but here are the main ones couples usually choose for their ceremony or reception:
Perfect for couples planning an intimate ceremony or elopement. The Zen Garden feels peaceful and secluded, surrounded by lush greenery and a trickling fountain. It’s ideal for guest counts of around 15 or fewer. It’s the kind of place where you can truly slow down and soak in the moment.
A JW Marriott classic. This open garden space can host up to 200 guests and offers a beautiful blend of nature and elegance. The fountain backdrop and manicured walkways make it a favorite for couples who want a traditional outdoor ceremony that still feels private.
Connected to the Valencia Ballroom, this terrace gives you gorgeous views of Red Rock Canyon and the surrounding resort landscape. It’s perfect for ceremonies, cocktail hours, or even sunset portraits before your reception begins.
If you want an outdoor ceremony and reception in one space, this is the spot. The Lodge at The Lawn combines open garden views with a private reception area nearby, accommodating up to 300 guests. It’s flexible, customizable, and ideal for couples who love being outdoors.
The Valencia Ballroom is where elegance meets versatility. With space for 200 to 400 guests depending on your layout, this indoor reception space features high ceilings, modern lighting, and easy access to the terrace. It’s perfect for couples who want that elevated, timeless look while keeping everything in one convenient location.

A smaller, more modern indoor space that can accommodate up to 250 guests for dinner or around 400 for a ceremony. The Cascade Room is known for its neutral palette and natural light, making it a great option for couples who want a stylish, minimalist backdrop they can truly make their own.
One of my favorite things about photographing weddings at JW Marriott is how perfect the rooms are for getting ready. The suites are spacious, full of natural light, and designed in a way that makes your morning feel calm and luxurious.
The large balcony windows let in the prettiest glow, which means hair and makeup photos always look soft and natural (no harsh lighting or dark corners here!) There’s plenty of room for your wedding party to spread out, hang dresses, and keep things organized while still having space to relax.

One of the best things about this venue is how versatile it is. No two JW Marriott weddings ever look the same, and that’s exactly how it should be.
kept things simple and heartfelt with a true elopement. Just the two of them, a custom arch surrounded by greenery, and one hour to make it official. JW Marriott’s flexibility made it easy to design something intimate yet beautiful, proving that you don’t need a huge guest list for your day to feel meaningful.

Luciana and Aaron had a brunch wedding that was an absolute dream. JW Marriott created the most incredible daytime setup with coffee, mimosas, and an elegant breakfast spread. Brunch weddings are so underrated, especially when they look this good. You can see more of Luciana and Aarons full JW Marriott Las Vegas Wedding on the blog!

made the day their own by working with JW’s bar team to serve custom espresso martinis (a total crowd favorite and a fun way to add personality to their reception!)

“Ashlyn is without a doubt the best choice I made for my wedding day! Not only is her over all photo style amazing and her editing skills but her actual presence on my wedding day allowed me to relax and just I knew everything would be flawless.
She gave my family great direction during family photos, got the best shots during our first look, and during the reception captured every last little detail of the day. She has an incredible eye and anyone hiring her for their day is so lucky.
My husband and I will cherish these photos forever and are so grateful she was available for us!”

This is one of the first questions couples ask, and for good reason.
If you’ve been researching JW Marriott Las Vegas weddings, you’ve probably noticed that pricing can vary quite a bit, and that’s because the resort offers several different spaces and packages.
Based on current info from Here Comes the Guide, most JW Marriott Las Vegas wedding packages range from around $17,500 up to $65,000, depending on your guest count, time of day, and the type of package you choose.
Each package includes pretty much everything you’d expect for a full wedding experience, from the ceremony setup to the reception dinner, which makes planning a little easier if you’re looking for something all-inclusive.
-Private ceremony site with chairs, sound system, and water service for guests
-30-minute rehearsal before the big day
-Four-hour reception in your venue of choice
-Plated or buffet-style dinner with a four-hour beer and wine bar
-Champagne or sparkling cider toast
-Custom wedding cake made in-house
-Complimentary suite for your wedding night
-DJ and emcee services, plus a dance floor
-Tables, chairs, linens, votives, and printed menu cards
-Complimentary valet and self-parking for guests
-Discounted room block rates for overnight stays
It’s important to note that JW Marriott adds a 25% service charge or gratuity to all packages, which is standard for venues of this caliber.
If you’re planning a smaller wedding or elopement, you don’t necessarily need a full package. There are ways to scale things down or customize your setup with the help of your planner and the venue’s coordination team.
Pro tip: even if you’re using the venue’s in-house coordination team, hire an outside day-of coordinator to manage your timeline and details. The venue team focuses on the space, but your coordinator keeps everything else running smoothly. If you’re looking for a great planner, I love working with Candy at The Vegas Planners.
I always recommend reaching out directly to the venue for the most accurate pricing based on your date, vision, and guest count. Packages and rates can shift seasonally, so it’s worth confirming early in your planning process.

If you want that lush, garden look, spring (March–May) and fall (September–November) are the best times to get married here. The weather is warm but comfortable, the gardens are vibrant, and the light is perfect for photos.
Summer weddings can still be beautiful, just plan for later ceremonies or indoor receptions. Winter weddings are quieter and cozy, especially in the ballroom.

This property is a photographer’s dream because it offers so much variety. You can capture multiple aesthetics in one day without leaving the resort.
Some of my favorite photo spots:

You can easily blend natural greenery, architecture, and city energy all in one wedding gallery.
Want a fun photo op that screams Vegas? We can stop at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign before or after your ceremony. It’s iconic and never disappoints. I even wrote a guide with tips — The Ultimate Guide to Photos at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign!

Even though it’s a resort, JW Marriott works perfectly for elopements and smaller weddings. There are plenty of tucked-away spots in the gardens that feel private and romantic.
You can exchange vows under the palms, enjoy brunch on the terrace, and end the day with sunset photos by the fountains. It’s quiet, relaxed, and still feels elevated.

Every venue has its quirks. Like how the light moves, where the best angles are, and which areas get crowded during peak hours. Having a photographer who already knows all of that can make your day smoother and your photos even better.
Since I’ve photographed multiple JW Marriott Las Vegas weddings, I know exactly when to schedule portraits for that golden glow, which gardens look best in each season, and where to sneak away for a few private photos.
Whether you’re planning a big celebration or something intimate, I can help you make the most of every part of this property!

If you want a wedding venue that feels luxurious, peaceful, and easy to make your own, JW Marriott Las Vegas is one of my top recommendations. Between the endless photo opportunities, amazing food and drink options, and the blend of nature and city energy, it’s truly a one-of-a-kind venue.
Whether you’re planning a grand ballroom celebration, a garden brunch, or a private elopement, I’d love to help you capture it beautifully!
And if you’re looking for a JW Marriott Las Vegas wedding photographer to capture your special day and be your right wing woman, you can learn a little more about me below!

Hey, I’m Ashlyn! I’ve called Las Vegas home for almost 18 years, and I can confidently say this city never stops inspiring me. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me checking out new local spots with an iced espresso (or, let’s be honest, an espresso martini 🤪) somewhere nearby.
I’ve been a full-time Las Vegas wedding photographer for about six years (and clicking professionally for more than eight), and there’s just something about Vegas weddings that keeps me hooked. Maybe it’s the contrast of desert light against modern architecture, or how every celebration here feels completely different from the last.
My photography style is true-to-color, timeless, and intentional. I love to focus on capturing how your day felt, not just how it looked. Whether it’s the elegance of a JW Marriott ballroom or a champagne pop in the garden, my goal is to help you relax, be present, and end up with photos that feel effortless and real!
Most importantly, I believe love is love. I’m proud to be fully inclusive and LGBTQ+ friendly, and I celebrate every couple exactly as they are.
