When you think Vegas wedding reception, Pinky’s by Vanderpump at the Flamingo brings the energy. Lori and Adam weren’t after anything stuffy or traditional. They just wanted a fun time with their friends, dressed to the nines in Vegas-worthy fashion (yes, the bridesmaids even got mistaken for showgirls). After the “I do’s,” we hopped on a party bus, hit the Vegas sign, and ended the night with a Pinky’s Las Vegas wedding reception. It was exactly the kind of energy this city was made for!

Getting Ready at Waldorf Astoria

Lori and Adam kicked off their day at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, and the getting-ready vibes were nothing short of glamorous. Lori’s gown, covered in crystals and finished with feathers, was an online find she ordered months in advance. She even had to make a two-hour drive to the post office to pick it up just in time before heading to Vegas. With hair and makeup by Glammed Up Vegas, she looked like she had stepped straight out of a show-stopping production. Adam matched her energy in a sharp suit with playful details that felt perfectly Vegas. Their first look in the lobby brought all the excitement leading into their celebration at Pinky’s Las Vegas.

After their ceremony at Viva Las Vegas Chapel (they charge a fee for outside photographers, so I attended their ceremony), the two hopped on a party bus with their closest friends and family and made their way to the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign. Because honestly—did you even get married in Vegas if you don’t have photos in front of the sign?

They brought all the energy, laughter, and style, making it such a fun stop before heading to their Pinky’s Las Vegas wedding reception. We grabbed a few portraits at a nearby private airport since Adam’s a pilot, and the planes in the background added such a cool personal touch. Lori and Adam are proof that I get to photograph some of the most stylish, fun, and iconic clients in Las Vegas, and capturing their energy throughout the day was an absolute blast.

From moody lighting, velvet textures, bold wallpaper, and cocktails that arrive in gilded birdcages. They enjoyed a family-style dinner that let everyone mingle, laugh, and share plate after plate of incredible food. (Seriously, there was so much food.) The in-house team baked their cake and finished it with the couple’s custom toppers to make it their own.

What I loved most is how Lori and Adam embraced the night with such style and confidence. They proved that a Vegas wedding doesn’t have to look one way. You can make it glamorous, fun, and completely yours. And yes, Lori even slipped into a second look. She stunned in a sleek black dress paired with a playful Vegas-inspired veil that was pure perfection for the night. Pinky’s is still new to the Vegas wedding scene, which makes it such a fun option not just for receptions, but also for bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, or even a chic night out with your people.
