Ahhh, a wedding so near and dear to my heart— on a lovely afternoon at Spreafico Farms in San Luis Obispo, Brenna + Taylor said their I-do’s and danced the night away with the most supportive, fun, and kind group of humans. To say it was an honor to be in attendance at this event would be such an understatement. The land spanned for acres, and the amount of love at Spreafico Farms that day absolutely could not be contained.
I first got to really hang out with Brenna + Taylor in early 2019 when we met half way between San Luis Obispo and Las Vegas in the middle of the desert for their engagement photos. I immediately felt such a connection with these ladies and it showed through the art that we were able to create together. Meeting again in their world was no different— they treated me and my second shooter, Madi, like family, heck, even their family and friends treated us like family. It was the most welcoming experience and I could’ve danced the night away allll night with them!
We started the afternoon with the girls getting ready, a beautiful first look in the garden at Spreafico Farms, and bridal party photos all before the ceremony.

The bridal parties were so much fun, it felt like they were MY friends for yearssss. For real, like I think I have most of them on Instagram now because I want to hang out with everyone again. It was that much fun!
And then the first look with Brenna and her dad. Talk about tears, I felt this one so hard. It was the sweetest moment and I definitely had to walk away to cry my own tears for a sec.
The ceremony was another example of amazing love. It was performed by the same pastor that married Brenna’s parents, which was so sentimental. The backdrop was absolutely insane with rolling hills and cows that came up close to see what was going on. There were smiles across the audience and barely a dry eye. The ceremony was right before sunset, so the light shined through their arbor in the most perfect way.
I must say a word about these two dad’s. They were so incredibly supportive and helpful all day, and they shared in some of the sweetest moments with their daughters. They and their wives show such unconditional love and I must say, they all treated me like I was a daughter as well. These are some super star dads that would do absolutely anything for their daughters and it shows and it made me shed MANY tears throughout the day.
After the ceremony, Madi and I took the girls out to a spot on the farm further up the hill and it was there that we got one of the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen. The sky went orange and the light shined through the valley in the coooolest way. This bridal session was insane and I am so grateful God gave us that view for the time we had.
The person working with us at Spreafico Farms drove us up through the hills and back down to the barn for the reception. They were so helpful— I would definitely recommend Spreafico Farms for a wedding venue!!
Down at the reception space, the decor was so true to Brenna and Taylor’s personalities, and my favorite part were the quotes that were on all of the dinner tables and around the room.
And my favorite quote that they had out—
I think everyone had a goal for the day to keep eyes wet, because I pretty much cried all through first dances, toasts, speeches, and basically everything in between. So much love and emotion.
Then pizza was served and the party went on! The food was absolutely delicious and of course, I was pretty stoked when I found out all Brenna and Taylor wanted to eat for their wedding was food of the Italian variety— my fav. YUM.
And let me just tell you, these people know how to party! From Taylor having me take a shot with her (I’m the cool photographer) to the girls dancing the night away in the crowd, there was not a dull moment.
Brenna’s dad with the best sock surprise—
And these ladies ended the night with dancing + lot’s of smooching! 😉 It was the best day and it will forever be oh so close to my heart!
XO
